Google Wave is Dead. Long live Google Wave.

I just got word that Google will be shutting down their Wave service. I am both disappointed, and unsurprised. While Wave was fascinating technology, it was complicated to use. In fact, most people had no idea what it was for. My only hope now is that Google can quickly lay it to rest and move some attention back to improving Gmail.
